Senior Geologist and Special Consultant at the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Labour, Government of Greenland
Anette Juul-Nielsen has a masters in Geology from the University of Copenhagen and a Graduate Colored Stones diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She has been working as a geologist for the Government of Greenland since 2005 and was in 2013 appointed leader of the expert group on gemstones and gemstone mining in Greenland.
Anette Juul-Nielsen is active in promoting the mineral and gemstone potential of Greenland and has initiated and participated in several local and regional scale surveys. She is a geological and gemological advisor to the Government, the small scale miners and the public and is engaged in creating public awareness on geology and gemstones through popular geoscience publications and education.
